RAD Transcription is a United States based-company. We employ only within the United States.

RAD Transcription currently employs two full-time highly experienced and efficient radiology transcriptionists, and one data entry person. We also have a number of additional pre-screened experienced radiology transcriptionists at our disposal should the need arise.

RAD Transcription has been in business since 1991, with 19 years experience exclusively in radiology. The goal of our business is to provide your company with absolute quality radiology transcription with a rapid turnaround time.

Our computer network is set up to efficiently interface with any other dictation/computer/PACS system. All reports are available online to physicians on our secure FTP server as soon as they are completed. Reports also transferred utilizing Print2PACS by pacsgear directly into PACS system via secure VPN.

Our rapid TAT (turnaround time) ranges anywhere from minutes after the dictation is done to 12 hours, depending on how the account is set up initially with the client.

Incorporated into our computer network is a Dictaphone Enterprise Express Ex125 digital dictation call in system with 8 phone line access as well as high speed internet access for Olympus Digital Recorders with docking stations. Dictation can be called in on a basic phone, but dictating telephones with microphones are available and are much easier to operate. I can provide you with one of these dictating telephones with a microphone if necessary. This dictation system has 6 redundancy hard drives in the event of hard drive failure. We also have Olympus Handheld Digital Recorders with docking stations that will transfer dictation securely over the internet to our system when the recorders are docked.

I provide a secure HIPAA compliant transcription service. I have two fax machines. Shredding of all documents is maintained. Dictation/transcription office is securely monitored for heat/burglary protection by BRINKS. We also have APC Back-UPS in the event of a power failure. Dictation/transcription systems are backed up daily.
